Online Funerary Guest Book for Robert J. Stine Posted at http://www.legacy.com/KansasCity/GB/GuestbookView.aspx?PersonId=19363596&PageNo=3 September 20, 2007 Bob was a good friend. He had a wonderful personality and could mix with any gathering. Once you were his friend, he never forgot you and you could depend on his help if needed. I am very glad to have known him. He is missed. J.C. Selph (Fayetteville, AR) December 22, 2006 Dad, I'm not quite sure where to start, but at the obvious, of I miss you more than anything. These last couple of months have been the hardest months that we as a family, and as individuals have ever had to experience. I still find myself waking up every morning not quite grasping the fact that I can't see you. Rob, Steph, Michael, and myself are trying really hard to help mom out. Shes been so strong through this, it's almost un-real. I admire her strength. This time of the year has been getting a little bit harder as each day approaches. Sometimes when I think about you, I make myself stop, not because I dont want to have thoughts of you, but because It hurts too much. I tried to talk at your service, but nothing seemed to come out right. To be quite honest Im not even sure what I said. I really just want to say thank you Dad!!! Thanks for always putting us (your family) first. Thank you for having Michaels best interest at heart all the time. You made the best grandfather I could have ever imagined. I am so happy that Michael got to experience life with you. Please know that all of your friends and family have been keeping a good eye on him, and helping with keeping your spirit alive. I ask of you to please watch over Steph these next couple of months. She's getting so big. You would be so excited if you were here, it's a girl, just like you wanted. They are going to name her Summer Mekenna. I know shes going to have one special guide over her. One last thing, thank you for letting Mom know you were with her as you left this Earth, she saw it. Thank you for letting Mom, Rob, and Steph feel your opinion on the badges, and thank you so much for showing me how you felt. It was ok that you didn't say anything. I saw it on your face. It was the happiest I have ever seen you. It must be grand there. I can't wait to meet up with you Dad. Please wait at the gates for me when its my turn. Until then you will live on through so many. I love you Dad. I wish I would have told you a million times more when you were here, but you know now. Say hello to Grandpa, and let him know he is missed. One day I shall see you both again. Love Always, Melissa Melissa Stine (Kansas City, MO ) October 2, 2006 Liz, So sorry to learn of your loss. Bob was one of the funniest guys I've ever met (and had a heart of gold). May the Lord's peace be with you in this time and for always. Greg Will (Bemidji, MN ) September 26, 2006 I worked with Bob at Sprint. He was such a sweet, warm man. Elizabeth Eddings (Kobe) (Kearney, MO ) eeddings@farmland.com September 26, 2006 I too had the honor of working with Bob on the Sprint Y2K team...what a class act! He was like a breath of fresh air with an infectious smile. Always happy - ALWAYS bragging about his wonderful family. You have a huge hole right now but know that Bob is still with you. He loved you more than you can imagine. I have to tell you about Boomer, the miniature stuffed bunny that sat on my computer. Bob always threatened he would take Boomer traveling with him. I would go to my desk to find the bunny gone only to look over and see the head of Boomer sticking out of the side of Bob's pants. It was so funny. Boomer did disappear for a week once and I believe Bob took him on a Sprint business trip. This man had a heart of gold that is shining down right now... embrace his memories and smile! May God richly bless you and your family! Renee Renee Dietz (Parkville, MO ) wordanimation@msn.com September 26, 2006 I worked with Bob several years at Sprint in the Affiliates group.
