Be advised the Gone West of F/O Ed Balkenbush today 9-22-06  No other details.  
He  was residing in Reno NV and had various health problems. Please advise all concerned.
I didn't know Balkenbush well at all.  I met him maybe twice and that was all. 
He never checked out that I know and I do know he was terminated.  
As far as I know, he was always in the DEN domicile.

Phil Stallings & Bonnie Dahl forwarded an email from Ace Avakian:

Does anyone have more info on Ed such as when he started, where based, etc.?

Sorry I don't have anything more on Balkenbush ... 
and, sorry to say, I do not remember him ... maybe he was a junior new hire in the '80s.

I don't remember this pilot.  Names sounds familiar, but not coming to mind.

Still unable to find an obituary at Reno NV newspaper or at Google.
Need more info such as obituary, etc.
